Axialis IconWorkshop is professional tool designed to create, extract, convert, manage and redistribute icons for Windows, MacOS and Unix. It creates PNG images with alpha channel in a few clicks including from existing Windows and Mac icons.

The new generation of icons uses variable transparency (alpha channel). This alpha transparency permits creating beautiful icons with smooth borders and shadows. IconWorkshop, which fully support alpha transparency, is the professional tool that you need to create such icons.

This program has been designed with one goal in mind: “Icon Quality”. The powerful editor permits creating the various image formats of an icon from an original drawing without quality loss.

Axialis IconWorkshop also lets you make icons for smart phones: iPhone OS, Android, Windows Phone. Recent smart phones and other media pocket devices defines new standards in application development. • Illustrator Plug-in Compatibility (up to 2026) – The transfer plug-in is now compatible with all 64-bit versions of Adobe Illustrator, including the 2026 release. Please reinstall the plug-in if you’ve upgraded to Illustrator 2026.
• General Enhancements and Bug Fixes – Includes various improvements for better stability and performance.

Changes in Axialis IconWorkshop 6.94:

• Dark Mode Interface (Windows 10+) – The entire interface now offers Dark Mode functionality, seamlessly transitioning when Windows is configured in Dark Mode. Additionally, users have the option to manually switch between Light and Dark Modes.
• 4 New Languages – The application has been expanded to include localization in four additional languages: Chinese, Greek, Japanese, and Korean. These languages are currently offered as beta options. We welcome translators to suggest improvements. Please reach out to us for further details.
