Changes in JRiver Media Center 35.0.27 (2025-12-05):

  • NEW: On TV Options window, the channel names in the “Favorite Channels” and “Hidden Channels” drop-down lists include the device name if the channels are Tuner Stream channels.
  • Fixed: If multiple set of Tuner Stream channels exist (due to having multiple devices), the “Hidden” and “Favorite” attributes might change “randomly”.
  • Fixed: Cancel on conversion was not working reliably.
  • NEW: OpenSubtitles.com integration for subtitle downloads through “Get Movie & TV Info”.
  • Fixed: Handling Opus files could leak memory, eventually resulting in a crash.
  • Changed: Removed Play Doctor from Playing Now.
  • Changed: Simplified Search DJ.
  • NEW: TV Options > Manage Devices… window will have the word “(disabled)” appended to the end of a device name if the device is disabled.
  • NEW: APE tagging saves track numbers with the #/# format with the total count on the disc if “Total Tracks” is set to save in the tag (it is not by default).
  • Changed: APE tagging no longer saves the date field for year only values.
  • Fixed: Possible overflow conditions when loading a string from a buffer (could crash MCWS).

Changes in JRiver Media Center 35.0.24 (2025-11-20):

  • Changed: Stopping playback no longer increases the skip count (only advancing to the next track).
  • Changed: Slovak translation updated (thanks Peter Lukáč).
  • Fixed: Thumbnail size in PNP was being ignored.

Changes in JRiver Media Center 35.0.23 (2025-11-18):

  • Changed: Removed the “Play with Play Doctor” button from Search DJ.

Changes in JRiver Media Center 35.0.21 (2025-11-16):

  • Fixed: The 64-bit build of 35.0.20 was unsigned.
  • Changed: Updated some “Opus MC (Blue)” skin colors (thanks Marko).
  • Fixed: In a split view setup each view could try to set the statusbar text so it was a race condition. Now only the active view sets the text.
  • Fixed: Windows System Media Controls was showing a file path when Playing Now is empty.
  • Fixed: The waveform height could be incorrect when running on a display that scaled.
  • Fixed: When saving a time-shifting session (on Windows with DirectShow tuners) the saved file may not be properly classified as a JRiver TV recording file.
  • NEW: Implemented “Save current time-shifting on stop” when running a DirectShow TV tuner using “Transport stream time-shifting” method.
