Hiren’s BootCD is a completely free bootable CD that contains a load of useful tools you can make use of in a variety of situations like analyzing, recovering and fixing your computer even if the primary operating system can not be booted. They remove good programs like Acronis Disc Director/True Image…
Probably got scared about the piracy issues with the non-free apps..
i agree though – not worth getting now (10.1 was supposed to have had the commercial stuff back in – it has acronis, for eg.).
Version 10.6 is the last release with all the tools (acronis,hdrive gen,etc) after that the soft is clean, still handy though
Hiren’s without Ghost is crippled.
I m using v10.6
Handy boot cd, with lots of usefull stuff, know it since first version.

ver 10.6 tis the best….has acronis n ghost….after ver 10.6 ….forget it
Whatchu talking about? Hiren 13+ is much better than 10.6 .
What you can do is insert the full archives of ghost and other needed utilities into the new iso with poweriso or something, and voila.
This Program,doest have the essential tools,like Norton Ghost
and Acronis
