Changes in JRiver Media Center 35.0.31 (2025-12-19):

• Fixed: While watching a live TV channel, playing another media type (audio, image etc.) from outside of MC (i.e. Windows Explorer) would lead to a long period of unresponsiveness. In some cases an error message box was also displayed erroneously.
• Changed: Returning to an empty Upfront view will now navigate the tree upwards until a non-empty view is found.
• Changed: Updated all translations to the latest strings from the code.
• Changed: Updated Greek translation (thanks Panagiotis).

Changes in JRiver Media Center 35.0.30 (2025-12-16):

• Changed: Search DJ looks for artists, genres, then track names instead of just artists.
• Changed: Removed Play Charts from the Car Radio save dialog.
• Changed: Search DJ searches with qualifiers (ie. [Artist]=[Dido]) will work.
• NEW: Added a new field that tracks TV Series playback progress ([Series Playback State]), as well as expression functions to query it – TVInfo(LastWatchedSeason), TVInfo(LastWatchedEpisode), TVInfo(LastWatchedEpisodeTime).
• Fixed: Filters in Parametric Equalizer are reset when stopping to avoid playing old data out when starting again.

• NEW: JRVR support for native input of D3D11 4:4:4 hardware decoded images (disabled by default).

• Changed: Downloaded subtitles have the language token moved to directly after the movie filename, as its commonly expected there to determine the subtitle language.
• Fixed: When importing a transport stream time-shifting jtv file (outside of TV engine), the file size was not imported correctly.
• Fixed: When importing a TV time-shifting/recording (.jtv) file outside of TV engine the “Date Recorded” was not set. Now MC will calculate the date time using “last modified time” and duration.
• NEW: Play Doctor and Search DJ have been reworked.
