 Unlocker is an explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program. Helps delete locked files with error messages like: • Cannot delete file: Access is denied • There has been a sharing violation. • The source or destination file may be in use. • The file is in use by another program or user.
• Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. • Works for Windows 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / Windows 7
Changes in Unlocker 1.8.9 - 26/10/2009:
- Fixed bug: Handles should not be missing anymore on Windows7.
- Fixed bug: Potential conflict with regular explorer use when opening multiple files or other shell extensions such as 7-zip.
- Fixed bug: UI should now appear properly when done from clean install.
- Fixed bug: No hangs due to looping junctions should happen anymore.
- Fixed bug: Deleting junctions will not erase original files anymore.
- Fixed bug: Managing your computer on Windows 7 will not crash anymore.
- Fixed bug: Bitmap handles should not leak anymore from the shell extension.
- Fixed bug: Many other potential sources of bugs and crashes.
- Improved behavior: When deleting files they will be sent first to the recycle bin if possible, only if not possible more abrasive deletion will be used.
- Improved behavior: Unlocker can be started directly from the start menu to browse to the desired file or folder.
- Promotional feature: Added fully optional shortcuts to eBay during the installation. Simply untick "eBay shortcuts" in the choose components page during install if you do not wish to have those.

Personally, the whole problem is on e-Bay Shortcuts, he is charged as an Adware and so their website is also blocked by security in IE. Do not install the e-bay and put the program as confident in your antivirus.  |

Test it and sadly it does not SUPPORT vista 64 bit. Surprise if it does work on Win7 64bit. |

Remember, we didnt think Sandboxie would be possible on 64bit but it was released recently. I'm sure the Unlocker team will get it working on 64 bit eventually.
Anyway, doesn't Malwarebytes AM have a similar unlocking feature? |

Language set by launcher according User Default Lang : Albanian, Arabic, Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, PortugueseBR, Romanian, Russian, SerbianLatin, SimpChinese, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, TradChinese, Turkish, Ukrainian. Settings of installed Unlocker should be preserved. Right click on a locked file or folder in explorer. Don't forget to quit Unlocker (tray icon) before shutting down Windows (don't hide tray icon). ------------------- Scan it i found it clean have fun guys |
