winOKE is a package that allows you to create and present karaoke presentations from your PC. It allows you to enter the lyrics to a song and lets you synchronise the lyrics with it. Many effects can then be applyed to the song until you are happy with the final result. To learn more about winOKE click on any of the sections available.

winOKE was created because I saw a need for a simple cost effective solution to create and run karaoke but without the expence or hassle of purchasing expensive karaoke equipment. It was such a good idea and so winOKE was born with a wide range of options and facilities. After much development winOKE is what you see today and it's great! winOKE is so flexible, it allows you to put in any lyrics to any song and synchronize them to the music.

winOKE now supports Right to Left Reading. Older versions of winOkE supported a form or right to left reading, however the implementation of it was incorrect. This feature is now available, however it is recommended that you use Windows 2000/XP and for this to work properly, you may need to add support for Complex Script and Right to Left reading languafes in the "Regional and International Options" control panel. winOKE now supports Unicode or Multi-Byte character sets. This means that more language options are supported.

Changes in winOKE v3.24 (27/05/2009):
* Fixed crashing issues on Windows Vista
* Few cosmetic modifications
* Fixed problem with wide characters in karaoke title when exporting to AVI
* Fixed one or two "Interface not supported" problems
* Changed directory selector to standard Windows one due to incompatabilities with Windows
* Fixed bug with which version of Windows Media Player is being selected (XP)
* Removed support for Windows Media Player 6 in Vista due to incompatabilities
* Quicktime FastMode is no longer available in Windows Vista
* Normal Windows are no longer skinned on Windows Vista
* winOKE can optionally disable Aero on startup (default) to enable better video playback
* Crossfade transition now a lot faster (as long as your in 32 Bit mode, which is now the default)
