    Umm, used this on windows vista back in the day. Had to dump it then, due to system hang ups. Thought i give it another shot, now that i'm using windows 7. Still the same problem, Outpost Firewall keeps hanging up my system for no obvious reason.  

    Both systems were 64bit.

    mine is actually 32 bit windows and i found the source for those cpu spikes. it was caused by torrents with a lot of peers, over 1000, once you clear the peer list or shut utorrent down the cpu usage is gone.

    Win7 (32bit) w/ Outpost Firewall keeps crashing my Explorer file manager and makes Firefox very buggy.  Gone to Online Armor and no probs.
