Do not install it !
in half of media players and sites it won’t work for you
it must be always active on your sys tray
it doesn’t open and shut down automaticly
previous version was way better than that one

i appreciate the advice (& warning), but having installed the program, i haven’t noticed a difference having DFX running constantly in the taskbar or with WMP. if you had paid for the program i can understand your annoyance of the new taskbar feature, but like the rest of us, we get it for free!!
There is nothing to worry about with this program. Actually, its a driver, that continuously modifies the data coming at audio interface. So, if you don’t want this program’s driver continuously running in your PC, just don’t use it.
