Stardock DeskScapes is a program that allows users to have animated wallpaper on their Windows 7, Vista or XP desktop. It supports playing video as animated wallpaper, dynamically generated content as animated wallpaper, and more.
DeskScapes supports the .Dream format. The .Dream format has been specifically designed to contain content intended to be used as animated wallpaper. The .Dream format supports hyprid content, dynamic content, MPEG video, WMV video, and author information.
DeskScapes is available as a FREE demo that will let you add life to your desktop. Supports Windows 7, Vista, and XP.
DreamMaker allows you to take control of your desktop and create your own animated wallpapers. Using the .dream file format, you can create your own Dreams to share with friends and family. DreamMaker is a FREE utility.

Dreams are animated wallpaper in .Dream format. They require the user to have Stardock DeskScapes installed to use .Dream files. The result is a spectacular animated desktop experience that uses relatively little CPU and resources thanks to the 3D hardware acceleration of Windows Vista.
