Actually, a very good, if not Excellent AV, ranked at the top along with Kaspersky and Sophos, even though Sophos is no longer available for Commercial use! If all you Norton users don’t mind that it only updates it’s Definitions every 6-8 hours, then knock yourselves out!
Everybody knows, or should know that there are new Viruses, Malware, Spyware and other nasties written and deployed every minute of every day, so where’s the protection?
BitDefender and Kaspersky give you updates every hour, 22 times a day!
I using this IS now, before I using KIS and avg IS. all is my favorite except NIS.
It’s Stupid Huge Heavy Software.
It’s Useless.Its not recommended at all for all Users with low Hardware Resources.. Compared with Norton, ESET, Kaspersy and Comodo
My PC: P4_2.8 // 1gbRAM // Win7sp1 Pro // 20gb free space on C Drive // 1mb adsl connection!!!!! My PC start Screeming and Become MAD and too slow, it take 10 sec to login windows, and if i wanna Right Cleck Menu i should wait 5 sec to Process and appers and same to oen any app,,
it tak long time in (FULL SCAN) or
downloading its updates and Killing The Internet Browsing to ZERO.I Roll back to Norton IS 2011 (The Professional).
This is a good antivirus, but it is resource intensive and slows the connection even though I disable the control ports and HTTP.Il is not recommended for old PC.
Piece of crap. Too much false positives. And even after turning off silent mode, getting my files deleted.
